Bringing Jobs Back to America
In the 2012 State of the Union Address, President Barack Obama called for American companies to bring their production back to the US. This call to action is important for the future of US manufacturing and the overall health of the economy. After decades of industry “best practice” indicating off-shore production, the need for moving production back to the US (reshoring) is clear. The Texas Reshoring Conference 2013 will provide small and medium size businesses with the knowledge, tools and connections to seize opportunities and build a stronger America by learning the true financial and social impact of offshoring and reshoring. The conference will be lead by Harry Moser, Founder and President of the Reshoring Initiative and one of the foremost authorities bringing manufacturing back to America. Participants learn about:
• Understanding the real cost of offshoring by analyzing the total cost of ownership; • Increasing exports through reshoring; • Creating manufacturing jobs in the US.
